Wendie Whalen's Story

Well I attended San Diego State University and received my BSN, and MSN. Upon moving back East, I attended Princeton University and got my PA certification. Moving back East was all about education for both Greg and myself. I married Tom Whalen (from Saints) in December 1969 and we were married for 6 years and had one son Gregory who is now 33. He lives in Walnut Creek Ca and graduated from Radford University in Virginia with a degree in Economics and Geography, He now works for a computer soft ware company designing fraud systems. Tom and I divorced in 1977 and I never remarried. I have been in the medical field for 20+ years working with breast cancer patients and calling on oncology hospitals and doctors ...Expand for more
throughout the United States, Australia and Europe. I have semi-retired and now work at a hospital here in No. Virginia and have ventured into a different area of medicine. I now work with hip and knee replacement paitients 2 days per week and I am in the OR 2 days. I love what I do. I had two kitty's but they just died. Watson was 17 and Charlie 15. I'm not quite ready for a new friend yet. but I am getting close. No boyfriends. I am at the hospital way to much. I swim 2-3 days per week and love to ride my bike. I have traveled extensively throughout Europe, Australia, New Zealand, Tahaiti, West Indies and the Carribbean. It was all work related which was really nice. I hope all of you are doing great.
